At RoleModel Software, I work across multiple products as a Designer III, responsible for the full design lifecycle — from discovery and wireframing through to CSS/HTML/JS implementation.
What I do
My work spans the gap between design and engineering. On any given day, I might be:
- Designing new features in Figma
- Implementing those designs with CSS, HTML, Slim, and JavaScript
- Presenting work to clients and stakeholders
- Mentoring junior designers through pairing and code reviews
- Iterating on design systems that serve multiple products
Impact
I've helped improve the overall standing of design within the company, establishing better processes for design review, handoff, and implementation. I invest heavily in the team through pairing, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
